As promised, we will talk about how to start your own AI automation agency.

Today, I will be standing in your shoes & think from YOUR PERSPECTIVE.

How exactly do you start an Agency?

Let’s go through the basics,
What is an agency business model?

An agency business model is where,

  • it is lean, no bullshit office expenses, no full time employees, you find sales, you service your clients.

    When you are overloaded with fulfilment, you outsource your work to contractors in another part of the world.
    We now live in a global economy, where work can be delegated to someone living in the third world.
    You are helping them by paying them wages that would be double/triple their average wage in their own country.
    Yet, you get your job done at a fraction of the cost.

    When you don’t need them? You don’t pay them.

    That is the lean agency model.

    When you sign a client, you are always paid upfront, your cashflow in your business is always net positive.

    There is no heavy capital expenditure, no infrastructure, just a laptop, phone and internet connection, you can get everything done.

Before you go on to learn all the skillsets first, I think it is important to get your marketing right. In any business, it is important to test the demand for your services first. As humans, we HAVE the capability to learn anything.

Do not be afraid, focus on getting clients first while you can spend some time mastering the service you want to provide.

And Today we will talk about specifically just that,

  • How do we go about starting a AI Automation Agency with $0?

For this, we have to really sit down and strategise.

I’ll suggest starting off with warm leads, people with businesses around you, people that you know well.

Do not hard sell them your service, but ask them about their pain points and what they wish existed to help them solve their problems at a price they are WILLING to pay for the problem to go away.

Use LinkedIn to create blogpost, write about AI Automation and drive traffic and attention into NEWSLETTER. Such as this one (hehe)

I’ve done the research and cold outreach through LinkedIn is one of the best out there.

However, you can’t just write a bad outreach mail, that will never work.

You have to create an irresistible offer that your prospect will feel stupid to say no.


Again, ask them about their pain points, and you are coming in with solutions, you should give them an offer, ideally a preview of what you are capable, they will very likely accept the offer if there isn’t downside for them to try your service.

Your job, is to get clients hooked with a simple AI chat bot that does wonder but takes very little time to build. It acts as a ‘trojan horse’ for you to upsell your other services.

Ideally you need to know what is a ‘value ladder’, which I will not go through in this newsletter, you can go and have a quick google if you need to know.

Let’s continue on, Warm leads checked, Cold leads checked

Now let’s talk about building organic presence,
You need to build social media presence, share value to others, build a community, your community supports you and makes you an authority figure in your industry.(in this case AAA)

Learn how to build insta theme page, (I’ll share what I learnt in the future)

Repurpose short form content on AI Automation Agency, use automation to post it on 4 different platforms. (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok)

Leverage on new social media app such as Thread, you can follow near unlimited amount of people without getting flagged…

Go to Threads that are in the AI niche, follow everyone, and post great content and people will help you out by reposting and blasting your content to everyone’s face.

I myself got 0 following and not much people to help me grow my AAA, yet in 16 hours I grow to 100 following in Thread.

Please understand that ATTENTION is the new OIL.

All these traffic, drive it into newsletter like this one, host a discord community, or telegram channel.

Any prospect that see you having this much following will trust you more naturally. You can now learn and master your skill, or find people who are good at doing what they do. Outsource it to them if you need.

When you service your first few clients, reinvest that money into making better content for your brand or do some form of paid advertising.

Remember that entrepreneurship is a long journey, it is going to be painful but the result will be worth it :).

AI Automation is here to stay, you have a long run way ahead of at least 10 years, you want to become the top brand and leader in this industry. Hence reinvest non-stop, provide value.
